FABRIC SEALING & WELDING

We are proud to offer a wide range of contract sealing services, including RF welding, ultrasonic welding, hot air welding, and seam taping. Our state-of-the-art technologies can add functional or aesthetic elements to sewn products, or can create stand-alone waterproof, water resistant or sealed products that surpass the strength and durability of sewing.

RF Welding

RF welding provides airtight and waterproof seams, as opposed to sewing and poking holes into the fabric. Air, liquids, gels or other material can be hermetically sealed and encapsulated. RF welding can be used to join a variety of materials, including PET, PETG, PVC, TPU, and open-celled polyurethanes. RF welding is a versatile process that can be used to create a wide range of products, including inflatable products, medical devices, and protective gear. RF welding produces consistently uniform, high-quality welds that enhance the performance of products while potentially lowering manufacturing cost. Our machines are equipped with heated platens up to 48" x 48" and 20kW of power, making it possible to weld large products with efficient cycles.

Hot Air Weld / Seam Taping

We specialize in industrial hot air welding technology for a wide range of applications to create seamless joints in thermoplastic industrial fabrics and films. Our hot air welding services deliver:

Common applications for hot air welding include long seams/runs, 3D shapes, or adding seam tape to soften against-the-skin feel or waterproof a sewn seam. There is added flexibility with a broader range of thermoplastic material and adhesive types that can be bonded together.
